As some of you may already know, Cape Cod is behind me now. In its place, Burlington, VT – a world steeped in crisp air and alpine dreams. Dartmouth Journal Services is the new employer. The job? Publishing medical, scientific, and technical journals. The passion? Action sports photojournalism.
I’m adjusting. This place is new but familiar. My thoughts aren’t fully formed yet. When they are, I’ll share them. One thing I am thrilled about, however, is the prospect of living right in the heart of New England’s ski country, especially amidst some of the highest December snowfall totals in years. As a dedicated skier, the excitement is nearly palpable. Here’s a snapshot of what I’ve been up to:
I had the opportunity to capture Josh Malczyk in action during a late-night, hush-hush rail slaying mission. The sheer energy and passion displayed were remarkable.
The first Nor’Easter of the year arrived and Burlington shuts down, mostly. The storm is fierce but beautiful.
This is my life now for the foreseeable future. Burlington. Snow. Skiing. Possibilities are as infinite
