The Powell Movement

I spent a few years sharing a wall with Mike Powell when we both worked for K2 Sports in Seattle. Nowadays, Mike finds himself at the helm of his name brand podcast — The Powell Movement.  Two hundred and one episodes in and just shy of a million downloads, the podcast has provided a deeper dive into the athletes and industry types that make up the snow industry.

For me, it’s a great listening experience and I’ve enjoyed hearing what my former ski industry colleagues have been up to, especially those who I’ve photographed for ski magazines and websites in the past.

With a number of those athletes appearing in The Powell Movement’s archive, I’ve put together a series of blogposts in tandem as a way of looking through my own archive of work.

As I’m able, I’ll pull together a collection of images featuring one of Mike’s podcast guests and post them below.
