A Detour Worth Taking — Multnomah Falls
During my tenure with Line Skis, I frequently found myself journeying from Seattle to the Mt. Hood area. These trips, often in the summer months, were dedicated to testing prototype skis, ensuring they met our high standards. On one such occasion, my friend (and boss) Josh Malczyk and I decided to take a scenic detour on our way back, opting for the long route around to I5 north and were able to stop through to take in Multnomah Falls.
Tucked amidst Oregon’s verdant landscapes, this cascade is a spectacle of nature’s grandeur. The roaring waters, framed by lush greenery, presented a stark contrast to the snow-covered slopes we had just left on the glacier.
We also swung in to a local farm and said hello to the resident Alpacas.
