The concept of capturing a moment every day is both challenging and rewarding. Recently, a former colleague of mine from the Enterprise Newspapers, Don Parkinson, embarked on this very journey. He’s launched a daily photos website, which you can explore at www.capephotos.net. Just a month in, and his dedication and keen eye is evident in every image.
Now, I’ve always believed that every picture tells a story, and Don’s daily captures are no exception. They offer a glimpse into his world, one day at a time. It’s a project that requires commitment, consistency, and a sharp eye for the extraordinary in the ordinary.
While I’m in awe of his dedication, I must admit, the idea of posting a photo every day feels a tad ambitious for me. But inspired by Don’s endeavor, here’s my photo of the day. It might not be a daily ritual for me, but it’s a start.
Here’s a few a couple attempts.
