All the right words to describe the evening when the Franklin Panthers G3 faced off against their rivals, North Attleboro. The outcome was just as unfavorable as the weather, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. The Panthers took time to warm up, but by the time they found their footing, North had already turned up the heat — and you know how the saying goes about striking when the iron is hot…
Franklin couldn’t turn over the engine quick enough, letting a series of touchdowns go unanswered.
And so it went.
The best advice after the defeat? “Be a smart goldfish: forget the negative and remember the positives.”
