Behind the Lens with Eric Pollard
It’s pretty neat to see someone so masterful in their craft work first hand. That’s the kind of experience I had recently at the K2 offices here in Seattle. Eric Pollard swung thru the Line office to meet up with our engineers and product development teams about the next iteration of his pro model skis, while also tweaking the final samples of the skis that are to hit shelves this fall.
Eric isn’t just a skier; he’s a visionary. With over two decades of experience, he’s carved out a niche that seamlessly blends skiing with art and design. His sketches, which often start as mere doodles in the margins of his notes, have transformed into some of the most iconic ski graphics and designs in the industry.
