In June of 2019, I found myself in the midst of hectic travel, shuttling back and forth between the East Coast and events in Colorado, including the GoPro Games in Vail and the Outdoor Retailer Tradeshow. Denver International Airport (DIA), known for its sometimes ominous weather, was putting on quite a show as I rode the light rail into the city for the second half of my journey to OR.
A glimpse of the peaceful in-between—a stark contrast to the intense environments on either end of the trip.
